What exactly is GetPharmacyPOS?
A hosted point-of-sale system for independent pharmacies, built in two halves: a front-store POS that works today, and Rx-counter features that are planned.

It is one edition of a POS family that also serves cafés, grocers, salons and other trades. The pharmacy edition is in development and open as a waitlist only.
Is it a pharmacy management system (PMS)?
Not plannedNo. It does not fill prescriptions, check interactions, bill insurance or keep patient profiles, and it is not planned to.

Who is it for?
Independent and small-chain pharmacies in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan that want a modern front-store POS now and a connected Rx counter later.

Using the front store today
Do I need to install anything?
Works todayNo. It runs in a web browser on a PC, tablet or phone. You only add a scanner, receipt printer and cash drawer if you want them.
How long does the front-store set-up take?
Works todayAbout 15 minutes for the account and first location; importing products depends on how many you have.

Can I move my products from my current POS?
Works todayYes, with a spreadsheet import of products, prices, barcodes and opening stock. Customers can be imported the same way.
What if my internet goes down?
The POS is a hosted web app and needs a connection. Keep a mobile hotspot as a backup at the counter.

The Rx counter, privacy and compliance
Can I ring up prescriptions on it now?
Not plannedNo. Do not ring up, fill or hand out prescriptions with it. Use your pharmacy system for every Rx task.
Will it ever store patient information?
PlannedOnly after HIPAA safeguards and a Business Associate Agreement are in place, and only what the planned pickup and signature features need.

Is my customer loyalty data health data?
It should not be. Keep loyalty records to name, contact and points. A note like a medication name would make it health data — do not add one.
Do you claim any certifications?
Not plannedNone. No HIPAA, IIAS, PCI, SOC 2 or any other certification is claimed for the pharmacy edition.

Waitlist, prices and buying
Can I pay now to reserve a place?
No. There is no payment anywhere on this site. The waitlist is free.
What currency will I be billed in?
Your market's: US dollars, UAE dirhams (VAT included) or Pakistani rupees (plus applicable sales tax).
Can I cancel later?
Yes. Plans are monthly or annual with no long lock-in, and your data can be exported.
Do you offer a discount for several pharmacies?
PlannedThe planned Multi-pharmacy plan covers up to three locations at one price; larger groups get a quote.
