5Questions

Country and currency questions

Which countries is GetPharmacyPOS sold in?

The pharmacy edition is planned for the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.

Full answerHide full answer

Those are the three markets the POS family sells in. Other countries are not planned for the pharmacy edition at this stage.

Can one account have pharmacies in two countries?

Works today

One business has one base currency. A pharmacy group in two countries usually runs one business per country.

Full answerHide full answer

Multi-currency is supported for purchases and exchange rates, but tax and reporting are cleaner when each country is its own business.

Do UAE prices include VAT?

Yes. UAE prices on this site include 5% VAT, and the POS can show VAT-inclusive prices at the register.

Does it support Pakistan's FBR POS integration?

Not planned

Not today, and we do not claim it. If your store must report sales to the tax authority in real time, check that requirement before choosing any POS.

Is it ZATCA compliant for Saudi Arabia?

There is a real ZATCA e-invoicing add-on for the POS family, but Saudi Arabia is not a launch market for the pharmacy edition.

Can receipts show both Arabic and English?

Works today

Yes. Receipt layouts can carry a second language, so a Dubai receipt can show Arabic and English.

Which date and number formats does it use?

Works today

The ones you set per business: date format, time format, currency symbol position, thousand and decimal separators.

Is support available in my time zone?

Yes. Each market has its own hours in its own time zone, shown on the contact page.
