Why we built a pharmacy POS that says “not yet”

Dear pharmacist,

Most software sites tell you everything is ready. Ours tells you what is not. The front of your store — the OTC aisle, the vitamins, the gift shelf — can run on our POS today. The prescription counter cannot, and we would rather lose a sale than have you find that out at the till.

So this site is a package leaflet, not a brochure: what the edition is for, what to know before you use it, how to use it, what is planned, and how to get it. Every page carries the same warning box. If something changes, the box changes first.

1Who we are

Who builds GetPharmacyPOS

GetPharmacyPOS is the independent pharmacy edition of a hosted POS family that serves retail trades in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan. It is operated by SOHOON Technologies.

The family has an edition per trade — cafés, grocers, salons, hardware stores and more — all on the same hosted platform. You can compare them on SmartPOSHub. The pharmacy edition is the last in the family to launch, on purpose, because it carries the most risk.

2Principles

What we will and will not do

We will publish status honestly, cite sources with dates and keep prices visible. We will not claim certifications we do not hold, invent customers or reviews, or take patient data before we can protect it.

We will

  • Mark every feature as Works today, Planned or Not planned
  • Date every claim and every source
  • Show prices per market before you ask
  • Build the Rx features with waitlist pharmacies

We will not

  • Claim HIPAA, IIAS, PCI or any certification
  • Show fake reviews, customer counts or awards
  • Ask for patient information on this site
  • Process card payments ourselves

4Why it looks like this

Why the site looks like a package leaflet

A patient information leaflet is the one document whose job is to say what a product does not do. Its numbered sections, boxed warning and plain wording fit an edition that is not finished.

The body type is Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed by the Braille Institute for readers with low vision (about the font) — a fair choice for an industry whose customers often read the small print with reading glasses on.

5Questions

Questions about us

Who is behind GetPharmacyPOS?

GetPharmacyPOS is operated by SOHOON Technologies, the company behind the SmartPOSHub family of POS editions.

The legal entity details shown here are being confirmed and will be updated on this page and in the policies.

Is this a new product?

The pharmacy edition is new and in development. The POS it is built on already runs retail stores in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan.

Why start with a waitlist?

Because a pharmacy cannot afford a POS that claims more than it does. The waitlist lets us build the Rx features with pharmacies, in the right order.

Do you have pharmacist customers yet?

No. That is why there are no reviews or case studies on this site. When there are, they will be real and dated.

Are you a pharmacy or a pharmacy-system vendor?

Neither. We make point-of-sale software. We do not dispense, give clinical advice or replace your pharmacy management system.

Where is the software hosted?

On the owner's own hosted platform; merchants sign up and use it in the browser with nothing to install.

Hosting and data handling are described on the compliance roadmap page, including what is not yet in place for patient data.

How do I reach a person?

Use the contact page: email by the Show email button, WhatsApp in the UAE and Pakistan once numbers are published, or the form.

Can I partner or resell?

Not for the pharmacy edition yet. Ask on the contact page and we will note your interest for launch.
